The female deadpool could be dr betty? she is blonde you know.
It's a whole family of Deadpool's, it's almost like this could be a sitcom of some sort. Lady Deadpool looks awesome (ten bucks says that it's Dr. Betty) I can't wait for this mini event.
I know, I know Deadpool has been getting a lot of attention, but let's face it might as well suck it up and deal with it. I'm glad Deadpool has been getting a lot of attention, at first it always seemed like they were wasting a good character, now however the character has been getting the attention he deserved. Sure three ongoing series is a little overboard but I bet yah any money that one of the three won't last very long....I hope its The Team Up thing since they already tried that at the end of Cable and Deadpool and even then it didn't seem to work.

It's just light hearted fun. It's not to be taken seriously, it's all for shits and giggles. With Reynolds being cast as Hal Jordan, Marvel have done exactly what fits Deadpool, satirize Green Lantern Corps. Throughout Deadpools entire fucking history he has aped other comic book characters and franchizes. This is nothing new. You guys need to lighten up.
I think it will be harmless fun, I look forward to it.
All you haters, think of it this way. This is Marvels way of saying FU to DC comics for taking Ryan Reynolds from them, and Deadpool is a part of it. You couldn't keep me from buying this even if it was written by Jeph Loeb.

blaine, wow i could make a bitchin "Pretty in Pink" joke right now but i will forgo my Deadpool like tendency to compare you to a toaster or some other appliance...
Obviously you are a DP fan or you wouldnt be here. Secondly, isnt it better to have the possibility of this being a really well done project that might lead to some other good stories or the possibility of good stories featuring DP then complaining about him not getting the spotlight or not being used at all?
Granted there is a lot of work coming out in the near future featuring DP but considering how Marvel operates this is par for the course, and might not be a bad thing honestly.
Some people are never satisfied for some reason and ill never understand that. Honestly dont start baggin on something before its even come out ( IN 7 MONTHS!).
If you want to complain about something or someone who has been beaten into the ground by Marvel why not go to a Wolverine fansite and bitch about the seemingly endless cavalcade of specials, minis, one shots and guest appearences made by Wolvy in the Marvel Univ. and beyond.
Deadpool has a relatively small history as a character and if there are writers and artists that are going to give him a fair shake and do something to make that history more rich and more interesting then im all for it.
I guess we will have naysayers that will always complain about good things with a short sighted view, so its okay for you to complain (hey that rhymes with Blaine. haha toaster) cause thats your right but at least back it up with a reason and dont just hit and run and use "this is fucking retarded" as your entire argument.

A lot of writers just don't get deadpool, and then what they create is pretty crap, I mean look at Deadpool's appearence in the recent ms marvel issues. Then there's stuff like Shang Chi and hulk. Of course this is understandable, writing good stories for deadpool and the right things for him to say and do is incredibly difficult without a large supply of weed. Look what I'm saying is that marvel needs to just slow down. Congratulations you found a new character to replace wolverine as the sellout most wanted character. You got Daniel Way to bring back deadpool in 2008, great stuff there no complaints (that's right, I like Way's writing(except pool-o-vision)) Suicide Kings- excellent. Merc with a mouth- still good. Deadpool in half of the issues available right now- dammit.
Clearly I've lost my original argument but my points are valid, but so are yours and everyone elses. Look at it this way who here actually wants to, and is looking forward, to read the deadpool corps. Not because you want more deadpool but because it looks like a good idea. if you reply yes, then I will report your reply for lying and slandering the good name of Wade Wilson (yes I'm aware that it is not his real name so shut up)

On the one hand, I like the clone idea because of the backstory-factor, but trust me I am thankful Lady DP has hair because that was my biggest frustration while in costume: keeping the damned chest-length hair of mine under wraps!
Telllll me about it. Mid-way through Preview Night I said screw it, and threw my hair in a braid. It's slightly more sheik for the mercenary on the go, but it also says, I'm feminine and adorable, as if the boobs and hips didn't say that already.
We'll be like the BAD girls, but...DEADPOOL! I am pretty sure we can track down a third chick for this party.
Oh yeah, next time, the hair is going in some wild, sexy 'do.

Plus, Lady Deadpool is most likely the chick from Deadpool #900's Rob Liefeld/Joe Kelly story, considering she went batshit crazy at the end of that issue and blew someone up.
Plus, she was blonde.
Other than that, I'm not sure if I want this, they've been milking the 'pool cash cow for too long already. Deadpool is a character which stories work best if they're taken care of and written with caution, instead of mass produced.
Sad to see they've used up Wolverine and are now moving on to Deadpool.
And I'm not sure about that ring... it's kinda cool, but I probably wouldn't wear it in public.

It's called SATIRE. Deadpool has always taken the piss out of other heroes and franchises. With Reynolds playing both Deadpool and Green Lantern, this is a masterstroke by Marvel. From both a business POV and it will just be hilarious.
Yea Deadpool is getting a lot of attention these days. But why is that necessarily a bad thing? So people like you are happy for Deadpool to remain a D-List character? No recognition for what a brilliant and unique character he is? No film made about him with a guy who LOVES the character?
As long as Marvel don't water him down and get rid of what makes him unique, whats the problem? And by doing this satirical take of the Green Lantern Corps they are showing they are NOT watering Deadpool down or taking away from his uniqueness. Because there is only one character in the entire world of comics who could get away with this. And that is our boy, Deadpool.
