Deadpool Bugle: Lady Deadpool and Major Deadpool Art for Deadpool: MWAM #7

  • gamerwithnolife · 2 months ago
Alright so does anyone actually know WTF is going on? Are these clones, or lookalikes or from another universe or what? are they insane as well or do they just look like him? I'll accept speculation, theories or rumours?

Also is that Captain America in the corner of the Lady Deadpool panel. If it is wouldn't it make more sense if he was in the major deadpool panel
  • DeadpooltheHun · 2 months ago
Man I have no idea whats going on, its limited though, thank god. But I have to admit major deadpool looks cool.
  • mgalusick · 2 months ago
I think they are from alternate reality deadpools but who knows?
  • HalfBeard · 2 months ago
They stated somewhere that Headpool wanted to return to his dimension, so now he and Deadpool are dimension hopping and meeting up with all these alternate versions of Deadpool.
  • HalfBeard · 2 months ago
    http://marvel.com/catalog/?id=13785

    it was in the solicit.
  • Ericon · 2 months ago
I thought it's been confirm by like a dozen times that Major Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, and the Deadpool Kid are all from alternate realities.

There's no word on how much like DP they are, but Major is supposed to be very militant and strict. Headpool calls him a jerk.
  • gamerwithnolife · 2 months ago
Yeah it has definitely been confirmed that these guys from merc with a mouth are from alternated dimensions, but my question was also about the Deadpool corps, I mean I haven't really checked but are they the same Lady Deadpool?
  • Ericon · 2 months ago
There's like no real info on Deadpool Corps. beyond the picture, since it ain't coming out until March. And that's not even a gaurantee. I'm geussing they're the same LDP, since they look exactly alike. I mean, Headpool is there too. But there's no real certainty about the Corp. other than that they will have an oath, which i'm looking forward to.

But I'm telling everyone right now, WIDDLE WADE IS DEAD! GET OVER IT!
  • Gungalei · 2 months ago
More Kyle Baker, eh? I actually thought his work in #900 was pretty cool and different, so it's nice to see him back.

And here's my ubiquitous "grrr meh hmph" for the Liefeld art, but...

    tigol bitties!! %D
  • darthjones55 · 2 months ago
    I'm thinking alternate universes.
  • DrDoomMonarch · 2 months ago
Here is to hoping Lady Deadpool stays.
  • rj-b · 2 months ago
    oooOOOOooohhh...she's got sexy feet.
  • DeadpooltheHun · 2 months ago
    I lol'd
  • Deadpool_ftw · 2 months ago
I find it ridiculous that she is holding two swords as there are two other swords on her back. Chalk that one up to Liefeld.
  • Ericon · 2 months ago
    I didn't notice that... that's just dumb
  • cde · 2 months ago
Or its smart. She had a long sword and companion sword in her hands. She has an extra pair of equal length katanas on her back. if she looses one pair, she uses her backups.

Or do you complain that someone like the Punisher carries more than one gun?
  • Ericon · 2 months ago
Guns are one thing. swords are swords. You only really need two. I'm pretty sure Liefeld just messed up.
  • micigniter · 2 months ago
i find it ridiculous the guy above me would care how many swords lady deadpool has lol. its funny shes just a deadpool with boobs and a pony tail lol. this is shaping up to be something fresh and funny.
  • Jaimy · 2 months ago
    >shes just a deadpool with boobs and a pony tail

    >fresh and funny.

    Huh?
  • micigniter · 2 months ago
you got a problem Jaimy? a reading problem? or maybe you like to just re type other peoples messages, either way......odd habit.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
He's saying you're shallow and immature, or he's confused by your abundance of aforementioned aloofness.
  • micigniter · 2 months ago
now now bandito lets not let your personal feelings reflect on this guy. and nice double a combo. "aforementioned aloofness." i likes. i know what he was TRYING to do. but the question is what am I trying to make him do? and you just kinda blew up all tactical advantage in this thread. thanks.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
I was agreeing, and stated it loudly, that you're a shallow kid. Shiny objects and 'thinking bad, swords good' attitude is the kinda thing that made Wolverine: Origins a blockbuster despite it's stupidity and shoddy story.
  • micigniter · 2 months ago
your a fool. if anything HES shallow for caring how many swords are there. i personally, couldnt care less. so i dont know who your speaking to, but it isnt me,your theory doesnt apply to me, im not a shallow individual, and never said "thinking bad, swords good"...that came from YOUR mind. and calling someone "kid" is reaching out alot isnt it??more of an insight into your own psyche if you ask me. and name dropping bad movies isnt going to make your accusations true, loser lol.your just making things up in efforts to put me into a category im not in.prolly some self reflection going on here, so i understand how this might be therapeutic for you. your feeble attempt to feed words into mouths has failed. go find a more productive method of using your time than "e bullying"
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Wow, you have no idea how psychology works. It's frightening.

By saying "Who cares how many swords there are", your comments in other threads about "Stop analyzing it and just enjoy it", your desire for just running and gunning Deadpool, yeah that's pretty shallow.

Your sad little attempt to 'spin it' is really quite amateur. Not reaching at all based on your opinions, your typing and your general attitude: you are kid.

I will give you this though, you are more coherent in your typing this time around.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Children, don't make me seperate you two. :p
And on Deadpool_ftw's post, there is nothing lame about noticing problems in the art.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
    But Daaaaaaaaad....
  • mrwadewilsonhimself · 2 months ago
I think it's hilarious how you idiots try to out each other on some sort of "intelligent" trip over rob liefield's mediocre artwork. Did I just call you guys idiots? I already feel a response from bandito comin
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Pay attention, it wasn't about intelligence, it was about shallowness.
  • mrwadewilsonhimself · 2 months ago
I KNEWWWWWW U WOULD RESPOND, HOW DOES MY ASS TASTE? J/K NO SERIOUSLY I WAS HIGH ON SOME GOOD OG KUSH WHEN I WROTE THAT BUT I CAN CARELESS. KEEP ON WITH YOUR SILLY BANTER
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
    ....Uh huh.

Point of etiquette, when someone speaks to you, you talk back, therefor I did.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
I know! Whos ever heard of someone responding when theyre being spoken to? THATS SO CRAZY!
  • ]v[ E G A D U C |< · 2 months ago
....and whats the deal with name dropping Wolverine: Orgins as a bad movie. I mean its no Dark Knight or Watchmen and it may have had a lot of weird plot holes that don't make sense when put up against the Xmen Movie cannon, Don't forget they desecrated the good name of Deadpool. BUt it was a fun action movie starring the best actor to ever get cool looking bone claws tunred tacky (but still cool) looking metal claws and the most badass version of Sabertooth to EVER apear on screen or paper. Thats right "Victor Creed" beats every single Sabertooth from the comics, Cartoons, Movies and Video Games. If you do still want to name drop a bad comic movie say something like Elecktra, Catwoman, STEEL, The non directors cut of Daredevil (the directors cut is sweet).
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
It was a bad movie, period, not just a bad comic book movie. There was more of a focus on fight scenes than plot. It was mindless garbage and it made no sense most of the time.

    http://www.the-editing-room.com/wolverine.html

That about sums the majority of it up.

It wasn't as bad as Catwoman, but it was as bad as Elecktra and Batman Forever.

You know what’s really surprising me? Liefelds drastic improvements. I was always a fan of his style even when it was being mass copied everywhere and even with all the artistic and anatomical failures. Why would an artist like myself actually not hate Liefeld in the 90's? Because it was exciting to look at, always in your face, always on the attack. However as soon as he started on Captain America it was so ugly even I couldn’t look at it. And it got worse from there. But from Cable n' Deadpool onwards, he has shown drastic improvements. Now it still retains that classic Liefeld look but it actually looks cool and there are less anatomy failures (still some huge ones if you look close enough). So bravo Mr. Liefeld. And oh look do I see fully formed, noncovered feet?
  • Brian · 2 months ago
I saw Rob Liefeld at my local Borders yesterday (he also goes to my church) and congratulated him on Lady Deadpool and he said thanks. He also said the Deadpool movie will portray the Deadpool we love. He said we shouldn't worry.
  • the_ace_of_knaves · 2 months ago
Liefeld has definitely improved. You can still tell it's his art straight away, but it ain't no where near as bad as it used to be. I can't even read those old X-Force books anymore, the art gives me a head ache.

And I'm looking forward to this event. It's just gonna be light hearted craziness. Not everything has to have deeper meanings and subtle nuances about different toilet plungers.
  • NinjaSpiderman · 2 months ago
As it did in Deadpool #900, Baker's art freaks me out again for whatever reason... something is just so realistic but so unrealistic about it at the same time
  • ]v[ E G A D U C |< · 2 months ago
Thats why I like it. It works best for the serious almost dark stories, Like Deadpool #900. That was a twisted story, and the art more than convayed that point tenfold. Im almost afraid (in a good way) to see how his Headpool will look like. A zombie Deadpool head drawn by Baker would and should look scary beyond all reason and thats an exciting thought.
  • blaine · 2 months ago
    liefeld's are is preettty :D
sadly i can never say that about Kyle Baker...
  • MercWadeWilson · 2 months ago
Fem-pool is nice addition to the alternate universe DP's.
    P.S She is super HOOOOT!
  • micigniter · 2 months ago
uhmmm......shes pretty much looks like a dude. either way you have to ask yourself, is she facially disfigured like pool or not? is "she" still hot then?? Everything with boobs is not hot, and she looks just like a male deadpool with boobs lol. and a pony tail. Shes prolly badass, but ima have to say negative on the hotness. However,*sigh* if it turns out she is hot, ill eat every word i just typed lol. But im sayin'!! thats messed up, deadpool cant grow hair, why does she get a full bodied coat?
  • MercWadeWilson · 2 months ago
If you look at merc with a Mouth #7 you'll see no facial damage. Check it.
  • KiLLPooL · 2 months ago
    I love Kyle Baker.
"One down" was my favorite story in 900.

    Liefield though...ugh.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
I believe he has a vendetta against feet.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
    LOL Good one!!
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
I'm only partially kidding. Topless Robot has a post about Stan Lee interviewing Liefield, the feet are cut off in all the shots of him drawing. And on a lotta covers, he tries to get around drawing them by having them covered up.

The man hates them. Or at least acknowledges he can't draw them.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Pouches and guns that are just drawn onto the hand however.....
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Totally acceptable. As is Spider-Man having 6 fingers when he leaps on Juggernaught's head.

    Or two left hands.

    Or big breast Captain America's.

Oh christ I forgot about that one for a minute.

I wonder if this alternate cap will have that same posture/physique.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Someone did a motivational poster to that, "Anatomy does not work that way".

    Lord that was aweful.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
It always makes me laugh when I see it.

Interesting though I just realized, lotta the poses from the front view that Liefield draws have the character standing wide legged and astride.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
He does seem to refrence stuff pretty heavily. Still, better than Greg Land.
  • RoQ · 2 months ago
    big boobs
  • DeadpooltheHun · 2 months ago
    Observant.
  • Name · 2 months ago
Liefeld is the worst part of my favorite character, as shown by the above "art". Dozens of pouches, disproportioned limbs/feet, carrying two swords while 2 are sheathed. Also her boobs are growing out of her collarbone somehow.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
It's a 90s flashback. All the heroines had boobs growing out their collarbones, and EVERYONE has guns. And so much x-treme stuff. And muscles so big and anatomically incorrect that the heroes shouldn't be able to touch their toes or rotate their heads.
  • tbk123 · 2 months ago
Liefield's art is just a little too brutal at times. Everyone remembers his Heroes Reborn Cap.
  • DeadpooltheHun · 2 months ago
    I lol'd
  • Grakk · 2 months ago
I don't think Lady Deadpool looks that good, but I'm kinda psyched to see Cap in a Deadpool comic again.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Do Alternate Captain Americas really count though?
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Depends totally on how they potray him. If he's like ultimate Cap, then hell no, but if he's basically the same as regular Cap, then cool.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
    Zombie Col. America counts then?
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Having not read Marvel Zombies, I feel unable to give a qualified awnser.

I admit, I just hate Ultimate Cap.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
It's fun, especially if you're a zombie fan like I am.

Depressing and sick dark humor that works, but an interesting read.

You didn't get interested after all the Headpool stuff in Zombies 3 and 4?
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Intrested yes, but I'm a broke college student, so my purchasing options are limited.

And the nearest comic store is over half an hour away.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Shoot me an email. Signor.Vampa@yahoo.com might be able to work something out for you.
  • wade1210 · 2 months ago
    ???? cap???? why????
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Alternate World Cap. We're discussing whether that counts as another Deadpool/Captain America interaction.

I'm leaning toward their only encounter being when Cap was possessed and Deadpool got in that cheap shot.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Well, from Wade's perspective, there was that issue of Cable and Deadpool where Wade was back in WWII.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Time Travel never counts. It's always error-ed out of continuity.

Cap didn't even remember meeting Wolverine for the second time in WW2 and Wolverine being a villain that time around (thanks for that paradox Daniel Way), so I doubt he'd remember Deadpool anyway.
  • Grakk · 2 months ago
Well, that doesn't make any sense, I just read an issue of Captain America where he said part of the super soldier serum gave him a sort of super memory, and that he could remember everything.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Don't look at me, ask Daniel Way. Wolverine was a bad guy in WW2 apparently (It was a secret) but Captain America found out, and Tada! When he was unfrozen, all those times he met with the X-men and wolverine he treated him like a good guy from WW2!

YAY! Go paradox from Daniel Way!
  • wade1210 · 2 months ago
i will say its not the real cap it's not the original steve rogers it only counts if it is the world war 2 hero
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Well Col America was Steve Rogers WW2 hero too...

Just had a different rank, and was a zombie.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
In this alternate universe, he likly is the original Steve Rogers Captian America.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
Oh, like I said from Wade's perspective, no way Cap would remember, the issue had the entire inccident wiped from his and Bucky's minds, so only Pool and Bob remember what happened.
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Yeah but that whole arc was screwy and more or less out of continuity. I write those issues up to Niceizia just having fun, like Dan Slott doing GLA. Squirrel Girl cannot take on Thanos, but it's funny to joke about.
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
You, you take that back!! That's a lie!!!

    *runs away crying*
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Well think about it. How could anything that man write be taken in-continuity besides the goofiness?

At the time (GLA-Deadpool Summer Fun) AIM captured the Greek God of Wine, there were no more gods on Olympus. Japanese Trickster God shoo'ed them out, after killing Zeus.
  • wade1210 · 2 months ago
so where does this place take place the land of the lost?
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
Dimension hopping. Probably the Nexus of Realities, or if there's still that portal to Limbo in the savage land. Or maybe he just mixes pop rocks and soda and creates a doorway to alternate realities. Who knows?
  • wade1210 · 2 months ago
because i am still as confused as can be since i read that first mwam issue and captain america is dead and since this cleary is what i call the "land of the lost" its a different reality so it could not count as the real steve rogers since he is dead though it could be bucky
  • Blastback · 2 months ago
It's the steve rogers of another universe.
  • wade1210 · 2 months ago
but this really is getting confuseing im just gonna go with it does not count because it is him from a different universe but i wonder maby its like futurama maby if you flip a coin in this universe it will be different in the regular universe
  • Capo_Del_Bandito · 2 months ago
You know how the Marvel Universe has a ton of different universes? The Ultimate Universe, the Squadron Supreme Universe, the NEW Squadron Supreme Universe, the Zombie-verse, all those things, there's usually a similar hero like the main marvel U hero.

In the Zombie Universe, Captain America was still Steve Rogers, just named Col America instead. In the Ultimate Universe, he's got mostly the same origin, but he's got some super powers I think, and he's a jackass.
