Deadpool Team-Up #894 Revealed
it started out great but fankiller art maybe a downside of it
but deadpool got me on the chicken trick
I was worried about being disappointed by Kelly's story cuz I was wondering if maybe he didn't ''get'' Deadpool anymore but I found it to be the funniest of the bunch. I really liked it a lot.
And there was something about that last story of Deadpool in the real world that stuck with me at the end. I was wondering where the hell the story was going, but the ending kinda made up for it. It was a darker take on Deadpool, but one that made sense. And as one of the above reviews said, Deadpool's a complex character, so I'm all up for an occasional change of tone.
Any one else notice in the "blood Montage" there was a panell depicting Pool stabbing himself behind a tree while two lovers kissed. Even though it wasnt too clear, the lovers seemed too look like Garrison Kane (Weapon X) and Vanessa (Copycat) who started dating after the VERy VERY first DP mini series "The Circle Chase" ended. I thought those two were never going to be refrenced again in Deadpool or otherwise, looks like I migt be wrong.
And this Gregor guy is a dick... Anyone made a pic of Deadpool "pointlessly murdering him with a smile" yet?
Most of this issue was just pointless murder and cruelty with a smile, which is what wade does well. It's tolerable when the art is good and writing is clever. But this issue is just juvenile. I'm sure there will be many teenagers that will enjoy this one.
EDIT: Soz megaduck, this was meant to be a reply to your post
